BusNet Pricing
BusNet offers the following distribution options -
a. 'Set & Forget' Option -
With 'Set & Forget', depending on the size of bus being used on the
route, a minimum of 4 seats (for 12 seats or less)
or minimum of 6 seats (for 13 seats or more) can be loaded into BusNet system
and the seat allocation is not touched by the bus or transport operator.
Once those seats are sold, then the system will show service fully
booked. Alternatively, after the seats have been sold, then 'On Request'
will show, meaning the bus operator has to confirm the reservation. Our
experience has shown, that the passenger does not like 'On Request'
reservations, unless the reservation can be confirmed, within 6 hours.
With 'Set & Forget' the bus operator will receive a booking confirmation
email, where they have to login to get the payment and contact details.
The passenger will be sent a PDF e-ticket/itinerary with booking number.
Cost -
* 10% on 'Confirmed/Travelled' bookings.
* There will be an 'One Off' set up fee starting from NZ$100.00
plus GST, to set up route structures,
fares, terms & conditions, etc. The set up fee will be determined by
the number of routes the bus operator is operating and the number of
'Travel Legs' in a route.

c. RMS Coach software -
If you do not have your own bus reservation management ticketing system
or would like to replace an existing system, Reservation Direct has a
reservation management ticketing system for bus operators called RMS
Coach. RMS Coach is fully customizable 'Off the Shelf' reservation
software package, that is fully compatible to Busnet and the Open
Distribution Network.
Once RMS Coach has been purchased, there are not other costs, except for
hosting costs on a server, commission paid to travel agents and other
sales channels and any work to customize the software to suit the bus
operator's operational requirements through business expansion.
With the Options A & B, the bus operator can become a BusNet agent, by
using a 'White Labelled' 'Search/Booking' box with shopping chart that
can be added to the bus operator's website and received commission for
every 'Confirmed/Travelled' bookings.
The 10% commission is invoiced monthly for the previous month's
'Confirmed/Travelled' bookings.
Commission is not charged for booking inquiries or booking
cancellations.
